Reads your inspection reportsPDF reports from your inspection contractors are read locally. Findings, thickness readings, defect types and due dates are extracted and attached to the asset they belong to.

One history per assetEvery campaign adds to the same record. You see how a given defect has moved between two inspections, not just its latest state.

Not a document system, and not an EAM

An enterprise asset management suite issues work orders and files documents. It does not read what is written inside an inspection report, so a defect noted in campaign one and a defect noted in campaign three remain two unrelated PDF files.

Lucens Integrity works the other way round: it opens the report, pulls out the findings and the measurements, and places them on a timeline for each asset. That is work asset management suites do not perform. It is standalone software, and it sits alongside an EAM you already run.

It does not replace your inspection contractor either. It makes the reports they produce usable from one campaign to the next.

What local installation means for your IT team

Three questions come up every time, and they are fair ones.

Who backs up the database?The machine hosting the application joins your existing backup routine, like any file server. The software produces its own backups, but they do not replace your infrastructure's.

How do several departments use it at once?Three deployment levels exist depending on site size: a shared network folder for a single plant, a server with distinct roles when maintenance, quality and management need the same view, and replication between sites for a group. The level is chosen at commissioning.

Who installs updates?They are delivered and applied with you, new report adapters included. Nothing updates itself on your machines without your approval, which is exactly what regulated sites require.

Approving externally hosted software ties up an IT department for months in pharmaceutical and medical sites. Here there is no cloud security review to run, no data leaving the site, and the software keeps working if the plant loses its internet connection.

Is it an alternative to an EAM such as IBM Maximo?

Does it replace my inspection contractor?

No. It uses the reports your contractors produce. Inspection remains their work; the software makes their findings usable across campaigns.

What happens with a report format it has never seen?

It is flagged as not covered, and the document is archived as is. Nothing is guessed. A new adapter is calibrated on your real documents when a format needs to be added.

Where is the data stored?

On your machines. There is no cloud component, no external hosting and no data leaving your site. For regulated sites this removes the cloud security review entirely.

Which assets does it track?

Tanks and vessels, pressure equipment, piping, heat exchangers, autoclaves and sterilisers, spray dryers, silos and hoppers, filters, sterile tanks and steam generators.
